For those who I have not yet met, my name is Johurul Islam. I am a Shift Manager for Royal Mail at a processing centre which delivers mail throughout the whole of Kent.
I am also a local business owner, running multiple local Indian restaurants alongside my family. Some of you may have visited our businesses in Tudeley, Kings Hill or Hildenborough!
I have lived in Tonbridge for nearly 20 years and I am very proud of where I live.
I care about our local community and want to do all I can to make our area an even better place to live. I am grateful for this opportunity to work together with Vivian Branson, who has been serving our community as a councillor for over 14 years.
We all need well maintained public spaces to enjoy, roads and pavements maintained to a high standard and a clean, litter and graffiti free community.
