Can you help get out the vote?
The most effective way to encourage our supporters to vote is to phone or visit them in the run-up to election day.
Across West Kent there are around 60,000 Conservative supporters on our database. It would be impossible to visit each one in the short time between now and polling day but with your help we can contact a third of them by telephone to remind them to vote.
Next week the phone bank at the Campaign HQ at Paddock Wood will be operational from 10am - 8pm on Tuesday 3rd May, Wednesday 4th May and Thursday 5th May. Can you support the campaign by covering one or more two hour slots. We will be phoning known Conservative supporters and simply reminding them to vote on polling day. There is no canvassing involved and no "hard selling".
In total we need 135 volunteers to cover the phone lines for the three day period. The more who offer the easier it will be. Two hours free parking is available in the Waitrose car park (directly opposite the office) or you could come by train as Paddock Wood Railway Station is three minutes walk away with direct trains from Tonbridge, Maidstone, Headcorn, Staplehurst, Snodland, Aylesford and the Medway Towns.
For those who don't know the office address is: Suite 3, Business Centre, Commercial Road, Paddock Wood TN12 6EN.
