Many homes on and around Westwood Road don’t have much, if any, off road parking space. The road was built when cars are not as wide as they are now.
One option that a few people have spoken to us about is putting tarmac on part of the green to create more parking spaces. This would then more easily allow two vehicles to pass each other on the road. It would also help move some of the parked vehicles off the road.
Clarion Housing Group own Westwood Green. We have been in touch with Clarion and they responded to say they are reviewing options to see if there is a feasible proposal.
We would both be very interested in thoughts about using Westwood Green to create additional parking spaces. do you think part of the green should be taken out for parking?
